Modern Engineering Appoints Abhijit Deshpande as Director

Modern Engineering And Projects Ltd has appointed Abhijit Jayant Deshpande as an Additional Independent Director, effective May 12, 2026. The appointment follows the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee. Deshpande, with DIN 02926610, brings over 35 years of experience in the power sector, including roles at Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (Mahavitaran) and as Secretary of the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC). He is not related to any existing directors and is not debarred from holding the office of Director.
