Moil Ltd Faces ₹16 Cr Demand for Short Water Tax Recovery

Moil Ltd has received a letter from the Executive Engineer, Wainganga Division Balaghat, demanding ₹16,08,16,712 for short recovery of water taxes for the period April 2008 to September 2025. This demand includes 24% interest and 1% service charges, based on a CAG audit para. The company states that the demand does not have any immediate operational impact.
