Muthoot Finance Invests ₹31.8 Cr in Sri Lankan Subsidiary

Muthoot Finance Limited has approved the subscription of 3,29,30,464 Ordinary Voting Shares in the Rights Issue of its subsidiary, Asia Asset Finance PLC (AAF), at LKR 33.30 per share. The total investment amounts to LKR 1,09,65,84,451, approximately ₹31.80 Crores. AAF, a Licensed Finance Company in Sri Lanka, has completed the allotment of these shares to Muthoot Finance, increasing its capital structure. Muthoot Finance now holds 72.92% of AAF. The transaction received necessary approvals from Sri Lankan regulatory bodies.
