NIIT Appoints Anish Kumar Sarkar as New CEO, Jathar Resigns

NIIT Limited announced a change in leadership following a Board of Directors meeting on October 14, 2026. Mr. Pankaj Prabhakar Jathar has resigned as Chief Executive Officer to pursue other interests, with his cessation effective October 14, 2026, and relieved from services by close of business hours on October 22, 2026. Concurrently, the Board approved the appointment of Mr. Anish Kumar Sarkar as the new CEO and Key Managerial Personnel, effective October 14, 2026. Mr. Sarkar brings over two decades of experience in business building, transformation, and M&A, having previously held leadership roles at Pluxee (formerly Sodexo BRS) and Mercer India.
