NIIT Learning Systems files appeal against IT order for AY 2023-24

NIIT Learning Systems Ltd provided an update regarding an Income Tax Department order for Assessment Year 2023-24. The initial order, issued under Section 143(3) with a demand notice under Section 156, contained apparent mistakes in the computation sheet, including a short credit of prepaid taxes. In response, the company filed an application for rectification under Section 154 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, on April 23, 2026. Additionally, the company filed an appeal before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) [CIT(A)] on the same date, within the stipulated time limit, challenging the aforesaid order.
