NIIT Ltd CEO Resigns, Anish Sarkar Appointed

NIIT Ltd announced the resignation of its CEO, Mr. Pankaj Prabhakar Jathar, effective October 14, 2026, as he seeks to pursue other interests. He will be relieved from his services by the close of business hours on October 22, 2026. Concurrently, the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Mr. Anish Kumar Sarkar as the new Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, also effective October 14, 2026. Mr. Sarkar brings over two decades of experience in business building, transformation, and M&A-led growth from his previous roles at Pluxee (formerly Sodexo BRS) and Mercer India.
