NLC India Appoints Dr. Prasanna Kumar Acharya as CMD

NLC India Ltd announced the appointment of Dr. Prasanna Kumar Acharya as its new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). The appointment, approved by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, is for a period of five years effective September 17, 2026. Dr. Acharya, previously Director (Finance) and CFO, has relinquished these roles. Shri Manoj Kumar Jha, who held additional charge of CMD, has handed over responsibilities. Dr. Acharya brings nearly three decades of experience in the power, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
