NLC India JV's Ghatampur Thermal Project Unit-3 Achieves COD

NLC India Ltd's joint venture, Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited (NUPPL), has announced the Commercial Operation Declaration (COD) for Unit-3 (660 MW) of the Ghatampur Thermal Power Project, effective June 13, 2026. This marks the full commissioning of the Ghatampur Thermal Power Station (3x660 MW). The project is expected to enhance power supply reliability to Uttar Pradesh and contribute to national energy needs. This commissioning increases the NLCIL group's total installed capacity from 7745 MW to 8405 MW.
