NMDC Steel Appoints Sarita Chauhan as Government Director

NMDC Steel Limited has announced the appointment of Ms. Sarita Chauhan as a Government Director on its Board of Directors. The appointment, effective October 12, 2026, was communicated by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. Ms. Chauhan, who is currently serving as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Steel, belongs to the 1999 batch of the Indian Administrative Service - AGMUT Cadre. She is not related to any other director on the board and is not disqualified from holding the office of Director.
