LIC Buys 2.002% Stake in NTPC, Holding Rises to 7.004%

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has acquired an additional 2.002% stake in NTPC Ltd, increasing its total holding to 7.004%. The transaction involved the purchase of 194,137,077 shares. This disclosure was made under Regulation 29(2) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. LIC's holding before the transaction was 5.002% (484,990,140 shares), and after the acquisition, it stands at 7.004% (679,127,217 shares). The acquisition was made via MARKET PURCHASE.
