Orient Green Power: Subsidiary Beta to Expand Capacity by 6.6 MW

Orient Green Power Company Ltd announced that its material subsidiary, Beta Wind Farm Private Limited, will expand its installed capacity by 6.6 MW. This expansion involves setting up two wind turbine generators (WTGs) of 3.3 MW each in Karur District, Tamil Nadu. Beta Wind Farm has issued a Letter of Intent (LOI) to Renfra Energy India Limited for the supply, installation, and commissioning of the WTGs on a turnkey basis. The Investment / Borrowing / Banking Committee (IBBC) of Beta's Board of Directors approved the expansion plan on May 19, 2026, including authorizing officials to finalize the EPC contract with Renfra. The consideration agreed under the LOI Contract is approximately ₹62 Crores (inclusive of GST).
