Praj Industries: Director Retires, Independent Director Reappointed

Praj Industries Ltd. announced changes in its directorship. Mr. Berjis Desai, Non-Executive Director, retired upon conclusion of the 40th AGM on August 13, 2026, as he did not offer himself for re-appointment due to his commitment as a Member of the National Commission for Minorities. Concurrently, Ms. Rujuta Jagtap was re-appointed as an Independent Director for a further period of three years, effective August 21, 2026, until August 20, 2029. Ms. Jagtap's re-appointment was approved by shareholders via Special Resolution. She possesses over 23 years of experience in management, administration, and marketing, with prior roles at TATA Steel Ltd. and Standard Chartered Grindlays Bank.
