PNB: Shri Divesh Sehara Nominated as Director

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced the nomination of Shri Divesh Sehara as a Director on its Board, effective immediately. This appointment is made under Section 9(3)(b) of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, as per a notification from the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Shri Sehara, currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, replaces Shri D. Anandan. PNB will submit Shri Sehara's detailed profile in due course. The bank has confirmed there is no inter se relationship between Shri Sehara and existing Directors, and he is not debarred from holding the office.
