Ravindra Energy subsidiary signs MoU for 500 e-HCVs

Ravindra Energy Ltd's jointly controlled company, Energy In Motion Limited (EIM), has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sorigin Green Mobility Private Limited (SGM) to deploy 500 electric heavy commercial vehicles (e-HCVs) over two years. This partnership aims to accelerate freight electrification across key Indian corridors, including the JNPA port ecosystem. EIM will provide its Ashwa 55-tonne electric tractors, supported by charging and battery-swapping infrastructure. SGM will finance, deploy, operate, and maintain the fleet, offering freight as a service. The initiative aligns with national sustainability goals, with an initial deployment of 18 e-HCVs at JNPA.
