REC Sells Two SPVs for ₹11.92 Cr Each

REC Limited's wholly-owned subsidiary, RECPDCL, has divested its entire shareholding in two project-specific SPVs, WR ER Part A Power Transmission Limited and WR ER Part C Power Transmission Limited. The sale, completed on June 30, 2026, involved transferring all assets and liabilities to successful bidders selected through tariff-based competitive bidding. The consideration for each SPV was ₹11,92,59,679 (including taxes), comprising the acquisition price and reimbursement of expenses. The buyers, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and H G Infra Engineering Limited, are not related to REC's promoter group. These SPVs are no longer subsidiaries of RECPDCL or REC Limited.
