Route Mobile subsidiary to acquire Heltar Technologies' AI business

Route Mobile Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary Route Connect Private Limited, has signed a Business Transfer Agreement to acquire the AI-driven omnichannel customer engagement business of Heltar Technologies Private Limited on a slump sale basis. This acquisition aims to expand Route Mobile's non-SMS capabilities, including WhatsApp, RCS, voice, and communication analytics, across India and key global markets. Heltar's AI-native chatbot and automation platform enables rapid deployment of communication workflows. The deal, funded by available cash, is expected to close in the coming weeks and aligns with Route Mobile's strategy of targeted AI acquisitions. The founding team of Heltar will continue to lead the platform within Route Mobile.
