RPG Life Sciences Subsidiary Acquires API Business for ₹135 Cr

RPG Life Sciences Ltd announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, RPG Active Pharma Limited, has executed a Business Transfer Agreement with Raghava Life Sciences Private Limited to acquire the latter's Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and intermediates business. The acquisition, valued at up to ₹135 crores, will be conducted as a slump sale on a going concern basis. The acquired business includes facilities, a portfolio of 29 API molecules (22 commercialized, 7 in development), and generated approximately ₹19 crores in FY26 unaudited revenue. This move aligns with RPG Life Sciences' strategy to expand its API business. The transaction is expected to be completed within 30 days, subject to regulatory approvals.
