Saatvik Solar subsidiary applies for ALMM List-II for 2.4 GW Odisha facility

Saatvik Solar Industries Private Limited, a material subsidiary of Saatvik Green Energy Limited, has applied for enlistment under ALMM List-II for its 2.4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Odisha. The facility, located in Ganjam, will produce high-efficiency N-TOPCon G12R solar cells under the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) category. This move strengthens Saatvik's domestic manufacturing capabilities and aligns with India's goal of building a self-reliant solar manufacturing ecosystem. CEO Prashant Mathur highlighted the milestone as crucial for building advanced and competitive solar manufacturing in India, supporting the industry's localization journey and contributing to the nation's renewable energy ambitions. The facility is part of Saatvik's broader expansion strategy, aiming to increase focus on high-efficiency cell and module technologies.
