Samvardhana Motherson to dissolve indirect subsidiary Yachiyo Canada

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited has announced the voluntary dissolution of its indirect subsidiary, Yachiyo of Ontario MFG., Inc., Canada ("Yachiyo Canada"). The Ministry of Finance of Ontario, Canada has consented to the dissolution, effective October 14, 2026. Yachiyo Canada was acquired on March 26, 2024, as part of a larger acquisition. The subsidiary was not actively conducting business, leading to the decision for dissolution. Its income for FY25-26 was INR 1.5 million and net worth was INR 1.2 million, contributing negligibly to the consolidated figures. The dissolution is not expected to impact the company's consolidated net worth.
