SCI Appoints Smt. Bharati Raman Gotarna as Independent Director

Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (SCI) has announced the appointment of Smt. Bharati Raman Gotarna as a Non-official (Independent) Director on its Board. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved this proposal, based on a recommendation from the Search Committee. Smt. Gotarna's appointment is for a term of three years, effective from the date of obtaining her Director Identification Number (DIN). The exact date of assumption of charge will be communicated to the stock exchanges in due course.
