Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (SCI) has confirmed the effective appointment of Smt. Bharati Raman Gotarna as a Non-official (Independent) Director (NoD) on its Board. This follows the completion of requisite statutory formalities, including the allotment of her Director Identification Number (DIN) and registration with the Independent Directors Databank. Her appointment became effective from August 19, 2026. Smt. Gotarna is not related to any existing Director and is not debarred from holding such office.
