Shyam Metalics: NCLT Approves Amalgamation of Subsidiary

Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd announced that the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Kolkata Bench, has approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Shree Venkateshwara Electrocast Private Limited into its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shyam Sel and Power Limited. The approval was granted on October 16, 2026, under Sections 230-232 of the Companies Act, 2013. The amalgamation will become effective upon filing the certified copy of the NCLT order with the Registrar of Companies. The appointed date for the scheme is April 1, 2024. This move is expected to streamline operations and consolidate business within the group.
