Starlog Subsidiary's ₹9.02 Cr Arbitration Award Restored by High Court

Starlog Enterprises Ltd announced that the Division Bench of the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta has restored an arbitration award of approximately ₹9.02 crore (along with interest) in favour of its material subsidiary, Starlift Services Private Limited. The original award, dated April 18, 2011, was previously set aside by a Single Judge of the High Court on December 24, 2020, following a challenge by Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (KPT). Starlift appealed this decision, and the Division Bench, in its order dated April 9, 2026, ruled that the Single Judge's order was without jurisdiction and a nullity, thereby reinstating the arbitration award. The company is currently evaluating the matter and will take appropriate steps in accordance with law. No immediate financial implication is expected.
