Sun Pharma Incorporates Wholly Owned Subsidiary in GIFT City

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd has announced the incorporation of 'Sun Pharma Global Treasury Centre IFSC Limited' as an indirect wholly owned subsidiary. This new entity, established in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) at GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, will function as the Global Treasury Centre for the Sun Pharma Group. Its primary objectives include managing treasury, funding, liquidity, and cash management activities. The subsidiary has been incorporated with an initial equity share capital subscription of approximately ₹9.50 Crore in cash. As it is newly incorporated, it has not yet commenced operations and has no turnover.
