Sunita Tools signs MoU with Polish Defence Co for drone tech

Sunita Tools Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Polish Defence Mfg Co. to collaborate on the research, design, development, manufacturing, marketing, and sale of ISR drones, Loitering ammunition, and Smart Flying ammunition. The collaboration aims to form a joint venture in India, with Sunita Tools holding a majority stake, subject to definitive agreements and regulatory approvals. Sunita Tools will be the development, manufacturing, marketing, and distribution partner for India, GCC, and the Indian subcontinent, with rights for other international markets. This strategic move aligns with India's "Make in India" and "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" initiatives, strengthening Sunita Tools' presence in the defence and aerospace sector. The MoU is valid for five years, and there is no immediate financial impact.
