Tata Power Advances 2.8GW+ Data Centre Pipeline

Tata Power is emerging as a key partner for India's data centre sector, with a pipeline exceeding 2.8 GW across renewable energy, T&D, and integrated infrastructure solutions. The company is engaging with 18 leading data centre players on 29 workstreams, offering comprehensive solutions from power supply to powered land and grid connectivity. The pipeline includes approximately 430 MW of load under its distribution network, 1,236 MW of transmission-linked opportunities, and 1,150 MW of green energy capacity. Tata Power is also enhancing its Mumbai transmission infrastructure with a ₹15,000 crore plan to support the growing demand from AI and digital platforms, which is projected to add 26.3 GW of electricity demand by FY2031-32.
