Tata Power Renewable Energy commissions 100.8 MW Jewali Wind Project

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Company Limited, has commissioned its 100.8 MW Jewali Wind Project in Dharashiv district, Maharashtra. The project is expected to generate 299 million units of clean electricity annually and offset over 245 million kg of CO₂ emissions. This electricity will be supplied to Tata Power Mumbai Distribution consumers, aiding its Renewable Purchase Obligation compliance. The project utilizes 28 SG 3.6-145 Wind Turbine Generators. With this addition, TPREL's wind energy portfolio now exceeds 3.9 GW, and its total renewable utility capacity reaches 11.6 GW, supporting Tata Power's goal of 100% clean energy generation by 2045.
