Tenneco Clean Air India Subsidiary to add ~2.1M units capacity for ₹690M

Tenneco Clean Air India Limited's material subsidiary, Tenneco Automotive India Private Limited, has approved a significant capacity expansion. This involves establishing a new factory in Western India, which will add approximately 2.1 million units per annum of Front Strut & Rear Shock Absorbers. The total investment required for this expansion is estimated at ₹690 million, which will be financed entirely through internal accruals. The capacity addition is planned to be implemented in a phased manner over the next two financial years, FY 2026-27 and FY 2027-28. The rationale behind this expansion is to meet growing demand and enhance the company's manufacturing footprint in Western India.
