New India Assurance: Hari Har Mishra Appointed to Board

The Ministry of Finance has appointed Mr. Hari Har Mishra, Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Services, to the Board of The New India Assurance Company Ltd (NIACL) with immediate effect. This appointment is until further orders and replaces Shri Parshant Kumar Goyal. Mr. Mishra is a 1998-batch Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) officer and is not related to any other Director on the Board. The company affirms that Mr. Mishra is not debarred from holding the office of director by any order of SEBI or any other authority.
