UltraTech Cement Launches Ultravolt Wires & Cables Business

Aditya Birla Group, through its subsidiary UltraTech Cement Limited, has launched a new wires and cables business named 'Ultravolt'. This marks the group's fourth new business venture in three years. With an investment of ₹1,800 crore, Ultravolt aims to become one of the top two players in the wires segment within five years. The business extends UltraTech's participation in the construction value chain and aims to capitalize on India's growth in urbanization, electrification, and digitization. The launch includes a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Gujarat and a pan-India distribution network targeting over one lakh retailers and 5,000 UltraTech Building Solutions outlets.
