UltraTech Cement Starts Wires & Cables Production in Gujarat

UltraTech Cement Limited has announced the commencement of commercial production at its new Wires & Cables plant located in Bharuch, Gujarat. The plant, situated in Jhagadia, will produce House Wires & Light Duty Cables with an installed capacity of 1,098,000 KM. This expansion into the wires and cables segment marks a new business vertical for the company, potentially diversifying its revenue streams and market reach beyond traditional cement products. The commencement date is September 1, 2026.
