Urban Company Files Defamation Suit Against Kent RO

Urban Company Ltd has filed a defamation and disparagement suit against Kent RO Systems Limited in the Delhi High Court. The suit stems from Kent RO's advertising campaign, which Urban Company alleges made false and misleading claims about its NATIVE water purifiers' 2-year filter and service life, calling them a "marketing gimmick" and "unsafe". Following a hearing on August 12, 2026, Kent RO agreed to pull down the offending advertisements within 15 days and refrain from similar disparaging content.
