Vodafone Idea Limited has completed the acquisition of a 26% equity stake in MTK Quantum Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. for ₹4.33 crore. MTK Quantum is a special purpose vehicle established for owning and operating a captive power plant, specifically a solar power plant in Tamil Nadu. This acquisition is intended to comply with regulatory requirements under the Electricity Act, 2003, and to procure cost-effective renewable energy. The target entity, incorporated on October 29, 2025, has a paid-up share capital of ₹16.66 crore and reported nil turnover. The acquisition does not involve related parties and no external approvals were required.
