Waaree Energies Clarifies U.S. Customs Determination

Waaree Energies Limited has issued a statement clarifying a determination by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regarding EAPA Consolidated Investigation No. 8163. The company stated that CBP expressly confirmed Waaree did not export solar modules manufactured using Chinese-origin solar cells to the U.S. Waaree fully cooperated with the investigation, and CBP drew no adverse inference against the company. CBP also declined a request to make an evasion finding covering all of Waaree's imports. The determination is limited to a narrow subset of historical import entries and is not a final adjudication. Waaree is evaluating legal remedies and its U.S. business operations remain unaffected.
