Welspun Enterprises Divests 51% Stake in NXT Infra MCP

Welspun Enterprises Limited has completed the divestment of its remaining 51% equity stake in its associate company, NXT Infra MCP Highways Private Limited, to NXT-Infra Trust. This transaction, finalized on November 05, 2026, follows earlier agreements dated June 09, 2022, and December 22, 2022. The total consideration received for this final tranche is approximately ₹339.38 Crore. Following this divestment, Welspun Enterprises' shareholding in NXT Infra MCP is reduced to Nil, and the company will no longer be an associate. The net worth contributed by NXT Infra MCP as of March 31, 2026, was ₹227.94 Crore. The buyer, NXT-Infra Trust, is an Infrastructure Investment Trust registered with SEBI and is not a related party.
