Whirlpool of India Announces Senior Management Changes

Whirlpool of India Limited has announced several changes in its Senior Management Personnel (SMP) effective October 22, 2026. Mr. Akash Mishra has been appointed as Head-Supply Chain (VP-Supply Chain), reporting to the Managing Director. Mr. Mishra brings over 20 years of experience in operations and digital transformations, with a background in supply planning and customer service from companies like Pepsico and Reckitt Benkiser. He holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University. Concurrently, Mr. Chetan Shetty, the current Head-Supply Chain, will transition to Factory Head-Puducherry and will no longer be part of the SMP. Additionally, Mr. Prafulla Kandpal (Head-Accounting) and Mr. Vijay Waghmore (Head-Taxation) have tendered their resignations, effective October 30, 2026, and November 13, 2026, respectively, to pursue external opportunities. Successors for these roles will be announced in due course.
