Azim Premji Sells 1.25% Stake in Wipro via Buyback

Azim Hasham Premji, representing Zash Traders, has disclosed the sale of 12,40,39,708 equity shares, representing 1.25% of Wipro Limited's share capital, through the company's buyback program. The buyback tendering period was from June 11 to June 17, 2026. Following this transaction, the holding of Mr. Premji and associated entities has adjusted, with the total shareholding now standing at 2,07,80,93,874 shares, or approximately 20.98% of the total diluted share capital. The disclosure was made under SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
