Azim Premji Trust Sells 0.39% Stake in Wipro via Buyback

Azim Premji Trust, a promoter group entity of Wipro Limited, has disclosed the sale of 3,83,24,141 equity shares, representing 0.39% of the company's share capital. These shares were accepted in Wipro's buyback program conducted between June 11 and June 17, 2026. Following the buyback, the Trust's shareholding in Wipro has reduced from 6.48% to 6.09%. The total equity share capital of Wipro has also decreased post-buyback. The disclosure was made under SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
