Zydus Lifesciences Extends API Business Acquisition Closing Date to Sep 2026

Zydus Lifesciences Limited has announced a further extension for the acquisition of Sterling Biotech Limited's (SBL) API business. Originally expected to close by December 31, 2024, the closing date was previously extended to June 30, 2026. Now, due to SBL's ongoing process of fulfilling certain conditions precedent, the parties have agreed to extend the closing date to September 30, 2026. The transaction is now anticipated to be completed on or before this new date.
