Zydus Lifesciences Launches REVAHALE for COPD

Zydus Lifesciences has launched REVAHALE™ (Revefenacin), India's first once-daily nebulised Long-Acting Muscarinic Antagonist (LAMA) for the maintenance treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). This novel therapy offers sustained 24-hour bronchodilation, addressing key challenges in inhaler-dependent treatments, particularly for elderly patients or those with severe respiratory impairment. REVAHALE™ is compatible with standard jet nebulisers, simplifying administration and reducing reliance on inhalation technique. Clinical studies indicate significant improvements in lung function with a favorable safety profile. This launch provides a differentiated treatment option for COPD patients in India, a region facing significant burden from the disease.
