A2Z Infra MD Released on Bail

A2Z Infra Engineering Ltd has announced the release on bail of its Managing Director cum CEO and Promoter, Mr. Amit Mittal. Mr. Mittal was taken into judicial custody by the Economic Offence Wing-Anti Corruption Bureau, Chhattisgarh. The Hon'ble High Court of Chhattisgarh granted bail via an order dated July 03, 2026. The court's order noted that there was no independent material to demonstrate Mr. Mittal personally instructed illegal payments, prepared forged documents, handled cash transactions, or participated in the alleged conspiracy. The court also considered that Mr. Mittal was not named in the FIR, cooperated with the investigation, and the investigation has concluded with a charge-sheet filed. Further custodial detention was deemed not to serve any useful purpose.
