Bharat Forge, Flying Whales Sign MoU for Heavy-Lift Airships

Bharat Forge Limited, through its Aerospace Division, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FLYING WHALES, a French-Canadian company, to jointly develop and manufacture heavy-lift airships for India's defence and strategic applications. The partnership aims to establish indigenous production of next-generation airships, including the LCA60T platform capable of carrying 60 tonnes of cargo with vertical take-off and landing. This collaboration aligns with India's 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Make in India' initiatives, fostering sovereign capabilities in aerospace and creating a new industrial ecosystem for strategic mobility and logistics.
