BHEL Partners Hystar AS for PEM Electrolyser Systems

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Norway-based Hystar AS to develop PEM Electrolyser Systems for Green Hydrogen projects. This international partnership aims for phased indigenization and local manufacturing of these systems in India. The collaboration strengthens BHEL's offering in the green hydrogen market, complementing its existing tie-up for alkaline electrolysers. It is expected to enhance BHEL's project execution capabilities for green hydrogen, contribute to the National Green Hydrogen Mission, and support the 'Make in India' initiative.
