Burnpur Cement Re-appoints Ram Narain as Director

Burnpur Cement Ltd. announced the re-appointment of Mr. Ram Narain (DIN 03596331) as a Director, effective September 22, 2026. This re-appointment was approved by UV Asset Reconstruction Company Limited (ARC), which took over the management of Burnpur Cement under the SARFAESI Act 2002. Mr. Narain was initially appointed by UV ARC and was liable to retire by rotation. He is a Science graduate (Electrical Engineering) and MBA, with 37 years of extensive experience as an Ex-Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) officer. His experience spans administration, general management, finance, operations, project management, R&D coordination, planning, training, HRD, and career development at senior positions. He also headed government functions like regulations, licensing, enforcement, vigilance, and international relations, superannuating as Senior Deputy Director General from the Department of Telecommunication, Government of India. He is not debarred from holding a directorship by SEBI or any other authority.
