Cummins India appoints Adegbile Adedapo Adewunmi as MD

Cummins India Ltd. has announced the appointment of Mr. Adegbile Adedapo Adewunmi as an Additional Director and Managing Director, effective November 1, 2026. He will also be designated as Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) for a term of three consecutive years, until October 31, 2029. The Board of Directors approved this appointment on October 8, 2026, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. His remuneration is subject to the approval of the company's members and other statutory approvals. Mr. Adewunmi is not debarred from holding the office of Director and will also be authorized to determine the materiality of events for stock exchange disclosures. The company will seek shareholder approval for this appointment via postal ballot.
