Garden Reach Shipbuilders Wins ₹37.9 Cr LOI for Electric Tug

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE) has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port for the construction of one 15 T Bollard Pull Electric Battery Propulsion Tug, including shore charging infrastructure. The total value of the contract is ₹37,94,48,131, inclusive of GST and taxes. The LOI was received on August 3, 2026. This development signifies a new order win for GRSE in the specialized vessel construction segment, particularly focusing on eco-friendly propulsion technology.
