Hindustan Zinc Q2 FY27 Production Up 7% YoY

Hindustan Zinc Limited announced its production figures for the second quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026. The company reported a record second quarter refined metal production of 264 kt, a 7% increase year-on-year, driven by debottlenecking projects and a new roaster. Mined metal production also saw a 5% YoY increase to 271 kt. For the first half of FY27, refined metal production reached a record 524 kt, up 6% YoY, with mined metal production at 539 kt, up 3% YoY. Silver production increased by 20% YoY in Q2 and 10% YoY in H1. Wind power generation also showed strong YoY growth of 17% in Q2 and 8% in H1.
