Jindal Worldwide Limited's subsidiary, Jindal Mobilitric Private Limited, is set to commence commercial operations with its first electric scooter, the R40, in July 2026. The R40 boasts a range of 165 km and is developed with in-house R&D. The company has established a vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad with a capacity of 2.5 lakh units annually, including an in-house battery manufacturing unit. Jindal Mobilitric expects to generate ₹100 crore turnover in FY27 and ₹350 crore in FY28, supported by an order book of 1000 units and plans to expand its dealership network from 35 to 100 in the next 12 months.
