JSW Energy Adds 1,081 MW Renewable Capacity, Total Hits 14,535 MW

JSW Energy Limited announced the successful commissioning of 1,081 MW of renewable energy capacity since April 2026, boosting its total installed capacity to 14,535 MW. This new capacity includes solar (442 MW), wind (108 MW), hybrid (381 MW), and hydro power (150 MW) projects. The company also commissioned a wind blade manufacturing facility in June 2026. Renewables now constitute 61% of its total capacity. JSW Energy is on track to meet its FY2027 renewable capacity target and aims for 30 GW generation capacity by 2030, with a long-term goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. The company has a significant locked-in generation capacity and a pipeline of future projects.
