Nexus Select Trust: Sponsor entity pledges 1.3M units

Nexus Select Trust has disclosed a material issue concerning its sponsor group entity, BREP Asia SG Forum Holding (NQ) Pte. Ltd. This entity has created a pledge over 1,300,000 units of the Trust, representing 0.0858% of total outstanding units. This pledge is to secure obligations related to a credit facility availed by NXST ML (NQ) Limited. The pledge was created in favour of Deutsche Bank AG as the onshore security agent. This new pledge is in addition to 33,609,064 units previously pledged by the same entity. The total period of encumbrance is until September 23, 2028, subject to the facility agreement terms. The borrowed funds are for genuine business purposes outside India and have not resulted in capital inflow into India.
